today i won $20 on a crossword scratchy.
it was cool.

hey alex-if you had come over like we said you would already be 18 over here. cos its currently 1:27am.
unlucky. happy birthday for tomorrow.

tomorrow night we might be going out cos its thirsty thursday. sounds good doesnt it.
tonight we went to this joint that had a deal for 2 pizzas and a pint for $25.
me kelly and jarryd had already hit it up before. its a good deal.

thats about it for now. me and cal and tom have just been chillin on the internet and playin a shitload of pool lately. me and tom are about even, but tonight i beat cal 5 games to 1 and last night it was 6 -2, so he clearly has some catching up to do.
me and cal have been hitting up ibeatyou a bit. tom reckons he does too much stuff on the internet already and doesnt wanna get sucked into another thing. but i just reckon he has no game, and doenst wanna get pooned.

christchurch

we arrived in christchurch a couple of days ago. we are just chillin up here for a bit then probably heading back down to queenstown.
today and yesterday have been really nice, with not a single cloud in the sky. feels like being back in oz.
we aren't really doin to much. just hanging out, playing cranium and watchin movies.
cant believe collingwood lost to st kilda.
i did not see that coming. they were the only team that could've beaten geelong as well.
and i cant beleive how short the odds are for ablett to win the brownlow. he must have had a killer season. i hope jimmy bartel wins again though.
we dont really have much else to say about over here.
just thought i would keep everyone up to date

the all nighter all dayer

last night i was watching movies after going to the movies. now last time i blogged i said cal and jarryd went out, whilst me and tom watched a second movie. anyway, cal got home at about 5 (whilst i was cooking nofast). anyway, i was cooking some rice, and i thought i would melt some cheese with it cos thats actually the only food we have left. then cal comes home and starts talking but little did i know that whilst he's chatting about his night, he is steadily demolishing all my cut up cheese. next thing i know, cals in bed and i have a huge bowl of plain white long grain rice.
so i rummage through the pantry to see if there is any herbs, spices or condiments that i can add to my plain rice. after a thorough search, i add some salt, ground pepper, extra virgin olive oil, and..... a few dashes of lemon juice. and then HEY PRESTO!!! it was an instant classic. so i go downstairs and watch the karate kid 2 then cool runnings then manj comes home. little did i know, day was starting to break, but jarryd was full engrossed about some wild story involving him, a cage fighting bouncer, and a ship on the wharf, and a runaway golf cart.
next mintue, he is keen for some nofast so i go up an listen to him blabber on a bit more(he was quite maggot) then we devise the ultimate plan.
you see, we have got into a routine of going to be late and waking up late, so we thought if we pull an all nighter and all dayer, we will go to bed early the next night, therefore wake up early the next morning. the plan was foolproof, so began a day of no sleep.
little did we know, the adventure had just begun...
so we created a list of stuff we should accomplish, while our twin pals slept soundly in their beds.
the list was outrageous, ludacris, and highly dangerous. just the way we like it.

the first thing on our list was less of the dangerous crap and more towards our sensitive side.
at about 7:30am we walked down through the queenstown gardens, which, i implore you, is one of the most beautiful and glorious places in all the land. after this stunning and magical walk, where i say unashamedly, i was on the verge of tears of bliss, we headed down towards the stunning lake wakitipu. but even professer trelawney could not have forseen the adventure that followed. it was on the edge of the lake, looking over the water, that i remembered somewhere deep in my subconcious, about a jetty that had some unusual sentimental value to it. i had to get to this jetty. joni loves chachi.
we realised that the only way accross this lake was to either swim, or boat. seeing as neither of us had bought our swimming trunks, and i felt no need to freeze my robot balls off, we decided to highjack a sea vessel of some sort.
after much deliberation, the plan was set. we "borrowed" a canoe, then jarryd paddled out to a dingy tied to a buoy, untied it, then brought it in. we were going to use a dingy off the beach, but they were all chained up. then we beached the canoe, and started the treacherous row accross the deadly lake wakitipu. but after about 2 mins, we realised that there was a shitload of water getting in to the boat. so then we took her ashore, tipped out the water, i stuck my chewy in a hole to stop the water getting in, then we set off once more. it wasnt to be an easy paddle though, as we only had one canoe paddle to row us accross. but despite the rowing troubles and the deadly pirhannna's, the lake had so much serenity that we named the boat 'cool runnings'. which means "peace be the journey". in all seriousness the lake is about a kilometer wide so after paddling for ages we finally made it to the other side. then we moored it at a little jetty, and set on by foot. by now we looked like true expeditioners as we had bare feet, rolled up trackies and a hiking stick to hike with. after a dangerous walk through the queenstown golf course, we finally reached the jetty. we walked up to it and engraved in the jetty was "the jeffery wharf".
so i figured it was named after me when i was born or something. (actually named after the late jim jeffery)
so after checkin some stuff out, we paddled home, returned the boat and canoe and no-one knew it was ever gone.
then we headed off to our next adventure.
so we decided to go home and on the way got some $1.15 pies (the most sloppy, dirty, rank-ass pies in the world... but sort of satisfying)
we got back at 11am but we just took that as "bourbon o'clock".
soon, after sharing some stories with some canadian girl (who always talks about herself) we ran out of bourbon so we cracked open a bottle of whiskey. then we cooked up a fresh dose of the salt pepper lemon oil rice. which soon after being cooked we realised we weren't hungry in the slightest.
now, after several glasses of whiskey we decided to update the blog, before the adventures of today become too much and we forget shit out.

tonight we are planning to go out, which our two mcmulkin friends will be in on for sure. but we will be forgoing sleep for quite a while. wish us luck.

peace

movies

today was cheap tuesday at the movies so i went to see taken and tropic thunder.
taken was hell good. probably one of the best movies i have seen all year. i liked tropic thunder, but not as much as alex rated it on his blog.
now over here i have seen: the dark night, get smart, the x files, hellboy 2, tropic thunder, taken, star wars, the forbidden kingdom, and wanted.
going to the movies is good. i like it.
when i get back to busso i am starting up a movie blog site. tom has already agreed to be a co-author, and if anyone else wants to blog about movies, let me know so they can help. it will be good.
today it was raining all day, and im not sure if it even stopped for like 10mins.
tomorrow the weather is gunna be crap so we will maybe go to the luge and hit that up.
at the moment me and tom are at the backpackers but cal and manj are out at surreal. apparently they are having a kareoke night but you can play the drums as well if you want, so cal skipped the movie to go do that and jarryd went with him. we might go check it out to.

thats all for now.
alex get your shit together and blog more.
